Stability
A safe, substance-free foundation with food, toiletries, and everyday necessities.
Step-Up Recovery turns sober living into a personal pathway—pairing daily structure with homes shaped around connection, creativity, movement, and purpose.
Connection has a rhythm
People process trauma differently. STEP brings structure to every stage while leaving room for the different ways residents learn, connect, and heal.
A safe, substance-free foundation with food, toiletries, and everyday necessities.
Daily accountability, healthier routines, and support for medical and mental-health needs.
Confidence, practical life skills, financial awareness, and job readiness.
Independent living supported by stronger habits, community, and a continued recovery plan.
The themes are not decoration. Each home actively offers a different way to participate in recovery—hands-on activity, writing, music, or visual creation—because no two people process trauma or rebuild their lives in exactly the same way.

Hands-on activity, writing, music, and creative expression give residents different ways to engage with recovery inside a consistent sober-living structure.
Food, toiletries, and basic essentials are included so residents can focus on stability and forward progress.
Recovery can include the companions who help make a house feel like home.
Residents attend four recovery meetings each week, building consistency, connection, and accountability.
Financial literacy, budgeting, money management, and job-placement assistance help residents regain independence.
Group activities, outings, sober fun, and a strong peer environment make connection part of everyday life.
Our work reaches beyond the walls of our homes. We create recovery housing, renovate properties for sale, and use those profits to fund housing and wraparound support for people rebuilding their lives.
Consistent outreach to people experiencing homelessness turns recovery into service—creating connection, dignity, and a weekly way to show up for our city.
Some properties are renovated into homes for people in recovery. Others are traditional flips, and every dollar of profit is reinvested into Step-Up housing, resident needs, and wraparound recovery support.
Speaker, mental-health advocate, and recovery advocate John Mabry visited Step-Up to spend time and speak with residents. His own story centers on trauma, addiction, resilience, and rebuilding.
The structure here gave me something to rely on every day. Over time, I rebuilt discipline and trust in myself.
They did not just help me stay sober—they helped me prepare for real life. When it was time to think about my own apartment, I felt ready.
For the first time in a long time, our calls are about goals, routines, and what comes next—not simply getting through the day.
The change shows up in everyday choices: keeping commitments, helping a housemate, and believing the next step is possible.
Serving together turns recovery into purpose.
Step-Up creates a bridge between treatment and independent living, with accountability, mental-health awareness, and community on both sides.
Music gave us a way to start a conversation that words alone could not.
